3 Best Websites With Answers From Actual People

Sometimes you have a very specific question to which you can’t find the answer online. Sometimes you want a strange person’s opinion or an answer from someone who is specialized in it. On the internet there are several websites where we can ask questions to strangers, and answer questions ourselves. We have a list of the three best ask and answer communities online:

  1. Yahoo! Answers
    yahoo-answer
This is probably the most popular Q&A website out there. Every day hundreds of people post thousands of questions. Every type of question can be placed into a very specific category and you will almost certainly find your answer. Very often, when you put a literal question into the Google search bar (such as ‘why does my cat pee on my bed?’) you will see that somebody has already asked it on Yahoo! answers.
Answering questions on this site is a blast too, due to a point system. The only thing you need for this is a Yahoo account, which takes only a few minutes to make.
  2. Answerology
    answerology
Answerology is a bot difficult, but once you understand how everything works you can ask anything on there.
It is not as busy as Yahoo! Answers but almost no question goes unanswered and after a couple of days you will have useful responses for sure.
A big plus of Answerology is that you can stay as anonymous as you like. You also get the opportunity to email your question out to a certain group of people (i.e. ‘single moms under 30’).
The registration part is a bit of a drag, but it won’t take more than 5 minutes and then you can get started!
  3. WikiAnswers
    wikianswers
One of the biggest pros of this website is that it is troll free. Unlike most Q&A sites it is moderated, and only the best and relevant answers are being displayed. You can make an account and browse through hundreds of question and answer them.
Another big plus of WikiAnswers is that it has over 5372 different categories in which you can place your questions. Once you receive an answer you will be notified via email.
There is a Reference Library that will get you the reference you need for a topic, and once you ask sometimes it will appear on the homepage.

Hopefully you will have a good idea of where you can ask your questions now. It can be lots of fun to answer questions and help others in return, too. I prefer Yahoo! Answers myself because they are the largest community, but for better answers I recommend WikiAnswers.
