You may have bought a windows 8 key online or your original windows DVD is damaged, but now you have the option to make your own bootable USB or DVD with an original ISO tool that was released officially by Microsoft. That tool needs a few steps and the good thing about it is that you don’t need any complicated CMD commands now to make any of your bootable media devices.
To download windows ISO first you need to open the official tool page that is located here and you can download the unique tool for both windows 8 and windows 8.1 which will only take a few minutes as it’s a small tool which is approximately 5MB. Your current PC should have at least 1GB ram and up to 20GB hard disk to run whole setup.
After starting the setup first it will ask from your windows product key and then it will download the whole ISO file which could take approximately 2hrs depending on your internet speed.
After downloading the whole file you will have a few options from which you can choose, like you can install now or if you want to make windows USB then select the Install by creating media option.
The next step will bring 2 options and you can choose DVD if you have a free CD and DVD writer but I think USB will be a better choice as you can use it on any portable laptop or tab that doesn’t have DVD Rom.
I hope that this small tip will help to make a safe backup for windows 8 and that you can install it any time easily. If you already have iso file of windows 8 or any another then you can try another way from here.
